Using Your Points

Shadow of an airplane on a white sand beach with crystal turquoise water and a single umbrella

Let's go!

So, you have opened a card or two, maybe you have a player 2 (P2) and they have a card or two now and you have 200,000 or 400,000 points or more burning a hole in your pocket.  How do I spend my points?

Well I know I have mentioned it many times, Hyatt has the best redemption and locations all over the world, from all inclusive $4,000 a night rooms to more basic $150 a night rooms with free pancake robot and yogurt breakfast. Points range from usually 40,000 a night to 5,000 a night. You can go to an over water bungalow in Bali for a month for one or two Ink SUBs! The world is your oyster.

How to transfer

To transfer your points from Chase to Hyatt log in to your Chase account, open your Ultimate Rewards, select your transferable card (one with an annual fee), on the app click home (three lines at the top left, travel, transfer points to partners find Hyatt, enter your World of Hyatt member number, confirm, move points. You can also combine points from all your cards to your transferable card and combine points within your household too. I combine all my points to Ryan's account then transfer to Hyatt, BUT ONLY AS NEEDED. We almost exclusively use our Chase URs with Hyatt, but I still only transfer the points when I actually have to for a booking because, you never know! Maybe I'll need them for a once in a lifetime flight all of a sudden or something else amazing or important.
